Calling all translators!

It has been 4 months since our translator, Silversonic, lost interest and walked out on us. So the group is now in a state of hiatus. Amazon 05 has been in limbo for almost half a year, but is now ready to be released at any time. This will be our last episode for a while, since it is the last script we ever received.

So please, if you love old school toku and know Japanese COME AND JOIN US!!! We have tacos and cookies and all that jazz, and since we love our translators so much you get to pick what show we sub next! =)

Site Revamp

Thank you for all the support you have given us these past 6 months! We truly appreciate it!

We are in the middle of revitalizing our dull website in hopes of making it “less dull”. We aren’t web designers though, so don’t expect anything fantastic. =)

You’ll also notice we are now using this WordPress blog for updates, instead of our old Freewebs one. Both posts made on the old blog have been moved over to here manually, as you can see, and their original time stamps were added to the bottom of the posts. Our old blog didn’t allow us to export these entries, which is part of the reason we moved over to WordPress, besides the ease-of-use factor.

In the meantime, episode 05 of Kamen Rider Amazon is in the developmental stages at the moment, and should be coming off the assembly line very soon. Look forward to it!

First episode is out! Giving Old Toku it’s proper due!

Finally Kamen Rider Amazon episode one is out!

I must say that the HNT crew worked hard and made sure that we did things right with this episode. I was worried that it would never get off the ground but we did it! I am so happy that we are going to be another spoke in the wheel in this vast world of fansubbing, and I am hoping that we can make an impact.

I would like to say that I am glad to see that classic tokusatsu is getting it’s proper due. What I mean is that it’s about time that series like Kamen Rider Amazon, and other classic shows that helped pave the way for newer series are getting subbed. For a long time now these older shows have been lying arround and collecting dust while the newer shows were given attention by being subbed. Now I am not bad mouthing any of the other fansub groups because I am a fan of the newer shows, all I am saying is that I think it’s time that classic shows on which these new shows stem from should be given as much attention, if not more so.

That’s why I started Hi No Tori Fansubs, to give shows like Kamen Rider Amazon, and other classics their proper due. They are all a part of this huge foundation by which series like Kamen Rider Kiva, and Go-Onger are built on. Now I know that not everyone is going to appreciate these classics as much as we do, but Hi No Tori Fansubs will be here for that small growing number of fans that are. This is why HNT is in existence. Not for fame, money, or to be popular on any website. We do this because we are fans of these shows and want to breathe new life into the forgotten past!

Hi No Tori Fansubs will continue to do what we do and that is to sub classic tokusatsu for all the fans who desire to see these wonderful classics.

Hi No Tori Subs is now reality!

Yes after planning and planning, and talking to several people we are ready to sub! Man I never knew just how much hard work goes into taking on such a huge project like this; however, I am willing to tackle such a huge project like this one. We’ve got our Translators in place and now we need just a few more things, and even everything will be in place soon I hope. One thing is for sure this is going to be one hell of a ride!
